Challenge / Application of the Project: To accompany Microsoft’s release of Outlook 11, Microsoft Studios approached Red Card Studios about creating a product demo to be packaged with Outlook as a “What’s New” demonstration. The demo was to combine original iconography, animation and product screenshots, and it had to be easily accessible for localization.
What RCS brought to the project to benefit it / complete it: Providing multiple comps and styles as options, Red Card worked with Microsoft Studios to define a compelling design direction for the product demo while remaining consistent with existing Office branding. The result is an eye-catching, dynamic Flash demo that has gone on to influence subsequent Microsoft product demos.
