Challenge / Application of the Project: Wanting to do something more creative and captivating within the standard “screenshot product demo” format, Microsoft Studios approached Red Card Studios about making the Microsoft Retail Management System series of demos a more engaging user experience.
What RCS brought to the project to benefit it / complete it: Red Card began by offering Microsoft several versions of potential UI designs, all of which had a more modern, edgy look than previous demos of this nature. Once a more captivating UI design was in place, small pieces of original animation and design (including iconographic animation, text treatment and title sequences) were interspersed throughout the demo to “spice up” the content. The end result was a visually appealing product demo that effectively and clearly walked the viewer through the entire product experience.
