Title: Fisher Communications SharePoint Intranet Site
Skillset(s): Creative Design, Web / Portal Design, SharePoint, HTML & CSS integration
Client: Fisher Communications
Challenge / Application of the Project: Fisher Communications wanted to create a SharePoint intranet portal to host information for its internal corporate needs, as well as its affiliate stations across the northwest. Like many SharePoint portal owners, they “didn't like the look and feel of out-of-the-box SharePoint.” Because the intranet serves so many different internal station brands, they needed a design team who could create something that would work for their entire audience.
What RCS brought to the project to benefit it / complete it: Red Card Studios designed created several designs, using only the Fisher Logo as a visual branding guide. The final design was created when the title of the intranet portal, “The Pond” was adopted. Working closely with the Fisher SharePoint team, the design was fine tuned to create a welcoming, pleasing atmosphere. The design was then integrated into the portal using CSS.
