Challenge / Application of the Project: The Microsoft Direct Market Resellers team wanted a fresh and fun way of teaching and testing their marketing team on the selling points of their products. They wanted to educate their team on some of the more technical aspects and functionality of their products in an engaging but effective manner—possibly using aspects of game show like quizzes and video game functionality to "spice up" what might otherwise be a boring learning process.
What RCS brought to the project to benefit it / complete it: Red Card Studios worked with The Mosaic Company to create a "Break the Bank" style Flash Quiz Game. This game not only has completely dynamic quiz content brought in from an external document, but also features a series of "Video Game Style" bonus rounds that break up the technical information with fun interactive gaming. The application was designed to have a vibrant, cartoony style to be visually engaging as well. The DMR "Break the Bank" Quiz was well received as one of the most effective educational tools in the DMR department.
