Challenge / Application of the Project: Conservation Solutions approached Red Card Studios as they wanted to completely revitalize their web presence. They felt that their website did not effectively represent their current company attitude & direction, the site navigation & organization was not intuitive to the user, and that they would need a content management solution to allow them to update, manage, edit, and add their own content without an outside resource.
What RCS brought to the project to benefit it / complete it: Red Card Studios worked closely with Conservation Solutions in the initial phases of the project to help put together a clear site navigation and organization before design or development had begun. Red Card continued to work with Conservation Solutions, taking into account their feedback and concerns with their old website design, to produce several variations on potential site designs before a final design was approved and development could begin. Red Card suggested and implemented a WordPress site installation to serve as a content manager for Conservation Solutions’ site and then proceeded to customize the installation with custom CSS design, PHP & Javascript development. Red Card also integrated all of Conservation Solutions’ content (including a large gallery of work) into the site design and provided documentation & instruction to Conservation Solutions’ team on how to use WordPress and how to best update their content.
